Curtis Zabel is a second-generation locksmith who brings years of hands-on experience and a deep passion for the craft to Car Key Connect. With a background rooted in the trade and a natural affinity for problem-solving, Curtis has hit the ground running — quickly adapting to our systems while showcasing the precision and reliability that only comes with time in the field.
Curtis isn’t just a skilled technician; he’s a true automotive enthusiast who takes pride in perfecting his work and delivering quality results. His commitment to excellence and family values align seamlessly with our company culture. While Car Key Connect has only been around for seven years, Curtis helps round out a team with over 50 collective years of locksmithing experience — and we’re proud to have him on board.
Robert Masse

Bob Masse, our new Portland locksmith, brings a wealth of experience and diverse background to Car Key Connect. Originally from Southern California, he’s passionate about helping people get back on the road quickly and efficiently. His interest in computer systems, combined with years of automotive and commercial locksmithing experience, gives him a unique advantage when working with today’s high-tech vehicles. When not solving car key conundrums, you’ll find Bob enjoying his other passions: gaming, swimming, and scuba diving.

Mark is known for his calm demeanor and commitment to quality work. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities like traveling, snowboarding, and off-roading. This adventurous spirit translates to his work, making him a valuable member of the team.

Jason Womack is a highly skilled locksmith who recently relocated from Texas to join the Car Key Connect team in Gig Harbor, Washington. He has a strong background in the locksmithing industry and is proficient in handling both residential and commercial jobs. Jason is dedicated to providing customers with reliable and efficient service, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of professionalism. Carter quickly became a skilled locksmith at Car Key Connect due to his natural talent and previous experience in the guitar industry. His friendly attitude and eagerness to help make him a valuable team member. He was promoted to lead coordinator to improve customer service and further support technicians.

Melanie Marion recently joined our team as Controller. Originally from Orange County, California, she relocated to Washington to help lead our next chapter of growth, bringing with her a passion for operational excellence.
With a background in supply planning and business operations, Melanie has developed deep expertise in strategic planning and systems optimization. Her early career in customer service, sales, and office management provides a well-rounded perspective that informs her leadership and problem-solving approach.
As a key member of our Strategic Management Team, she plays a vital role in financial oversight and operational efficiency, helping us scale sustainably while maintaining exceptional service and team cohesion. A natural leader with a strong work ethic shaped from an early age, Melanie embodies the core values that define our culture: Integrity, Excellence, Professionalism, and Fun.
Greg Comstock
Operations Manager
Greg Comstock joins Car Key Connect as Operations Manager, bringing decades of experience in the automotive and logistics industries. With a background at Northwest Motorsport, Manheim, and Crossborder, Greg has built a strong foundation in operational efficiency, strategic growth, and leadership. His vast knowledge and extensive network of connections are pivotal in advancing Car Key Connect’s operations and success.
Outside of work, Greg is an avid fitness enthusiast, off-roading adventurer, and a dedicated Pearl Jam fan.
Nicholas Blake
General Manager - Owner
Nick has been with Car Key Connect since it began in 2018. He helped build the team and guide the company’s growth. Nick is a versatile employee who does everything from making keys to administrative work. He recently earned his MBA to help expand the company even further. Nick and Car Key Connect are focused on providing a positive customer experience and delivering great value.

Never one to shy away from a new venture, JT partnered with his good friend, Dave Blake, to establish Car Key Connect. While JT takes a mostly hands-off approach, his business acumen and guidance provide valuable support to the Car Key Connect team. His trust in Dave and their shared vision is a testament to their strong friendship and belief in the company’s potential.

Dave’s journey began with the idea of crafting keys onsite at the Auto Auction of New England in New Hampshire. From there, he honed his skills as the manager of DAA Seattle, a renowned auto auction in the bustling city of Seattle. Today, Dave serves in a VP role with McConkey Auction Group. Dave drives the exceptional standards Car Key Connect provides, where every key is more than a tool—it’s a testament to precision and care.
